Noosa, the absolute gem on Queensland’s Sunny Coast. Bordered by pristine beaches and national parks, it’s a town blessed with stunning views, a laid-back atmosphere, and a tight but vibrant hospitality scene.
On that note, meet Theo’s Social Club - a charming wine bar that quickly became a local favourite after opening at the end of 2020. With an ever-changing selection of wines, small plates and pasta, Theo's is an inviting and unpretentious must-visit.
Local Guides are brought to you by your friendly concierge, Worktones. We’ve got the plug on the best restaurants, cafes, bars and other gems in the neighbourhood by those who know a thing or two about serving up good times in the area.
Events and collaborations go a long way, especially in a small coastal town. Theo’s make extra good out of their intimate and al fresco spaces with their Friends Cooking Food and Friends Pouring Wine events. Think menu takeovers from other hospo heroes - some local, some who’ve travelled from afar. Theo’s also have their Vinyl Sundays for guests to handpick the music they’ll drink wine to. A sangiovese to Grace Janes, thank you.
As connoisseurs of good times, we thought they’d be perfect to give us some more local tips. One way or another, if you’re in Noosa, you’ll need to go to Theo’s followed by some of the team’s recommendations below.

Where are you eating on a day/night off?
- Gabby - If our 3 year old is choosing, Somedays Pizza in Noosa Junction. Awesome woodfired, sourdough pizza. For lunch out, the Kin Kin Hotel. Over 100 years old, recently being taken over by new owners, this pub is worth the drive. Beautiful menu using loads of local produce, changing weekly and great for big groups.
- Jake - Tuckshop for brunch. Awesome sandwiches, breakfast rolls, coffee and an amazing array of baked goods.
- Kerry - Spice Girl.
- Jovanna - Kin Kin Hotel for elevated pub food or Izzy Chai for yummy Asian.
- Chloe - Gotta be Somedays. I’m actually addicted to the Wagyu pizza with potato on it.
